Executive Chef and Owner Stephen Blandino has introduced lighter spring and summer dishes to the menu at Americana Las Vegas, located on Lake Jacqueline in Desert Shores. Plus, the final phase of the fine dining restaurant, a 40-person bar and lounge, opened in mid-May.
New selections include Nantucket scallops with sweet baby carrot risotto, Spring English peas and sauteed morels; Calabrian-spiced Petaluma chicken; smoked lamb chops served over pan-seared gnocchi; market-select oysters topped with mango sorbet, Thai chili and cucumber; and Hawaiian bigeye tuna tartare with avocado mousse, Cara Cara orange wedges and ponzu sauce. Seasonal desserts include tangerine-scented cheesecake with blueberry coulis and blood orange sorbet, among others.
New specialty cocktails include the Americana Smash, made with Four Roses bourbon, raspberry, blackberry, simple syrup and lemon, served on the rocks; and the Jackie O. White Cosmo, a twist on the classic Cosmopolitan made with Belvedere vodka and white cranberry juice, served in a martini glass.
New selections are continually added to the menu at Americana Las Vegas, inspired by fruits and vegetables available at local farmers markets. Dining and event reservations are available now and may be scheduled on OpenTable or by calling 702-331-5565.
